Description
This rubber stamp has all the notary information needed to notarize documents in Arkansas.
Each notary public must have a seal of office, which can be either a rubber stamp or a metal embosser. The seal must include:
• your name as written in your official signature
• the name of the county where your bond is filed
• the words “notary public” and “Arkansas”
• the date of expiration of your notary commission
• the commission number assigned by the Arkansas Secretary of State if your notary commission was filed after January 1, 2006.
The seal must be clear and legible, and capable of photographic reproduction. It is not lawful to use a notary seal showing the Great Seal of Arkansas or an outline of the State of Arkansas. It is a good practice that the notary seal be imprinted just below the notarial statement. Care should be taken to not obscure the signatures or other parts of the document.
