The name on your notary seal/stamp must match the name on your notary certificate exactly (including any middle initials if applicable).
Your commission expiration date is not required to be on your notary stamp/seal. You may hand-write your commission expiration date in your notarizations or order a separate stamp for the date. If you prefer your commission expiration date to be on your stamp/seal; it must be outside of the outline of your notary stamp/seal.
Every notary public shall keep a journal of every notarial act, unless the original or a copy of such document or electronic record contains the information otherwise required to be entered in the notary’s journal and is retained by the notary’s firm or employer. The standard color for all embosser frames is shown in the picture on the left. Pocket embossers and Cushion Grip embosser are available in pink, blue and red. There is an additional charge of $2.00 for colored handles.
